Electric Sol at the Hotel Congress Tap Room, Tucson, Arizona.

FRONTED BY PHOENIX-BASED SINGER/SONGWRITER ED SWEET, Electric Sol began as a studio project to accompany a work-in-progress novel about four musicians who play Native American Casinos in the Southwest while trying to make it big. The music took on a life of its own as the sound evolved in the capable production hands of Cliff Sarde, a Grammy-nominated multi-instrumentalist whose projects include Dreams Out Loud, Enter Tribal and Smoke ’n Function. Electric Sol's main influences include Hot Chip, SAFIA, Beach House, Local Natives, Ra Ra Riot, Small Black, Washed Out and Unbuttoned. Special thanks to Washington, D.C.-based artist, Élan Noelle, for providing background vocals on You Walked In, Chemistry and Palm Springs, and to second engineer Jimmy Chow. We hope you like the music we bring you and that you keep wanting more!
